I took a trip a couple of weeks ago to Bozeman, MT to visit family and had the best time. The mountains! The hiking! The relaxation! Yellowstone in the winter!
Below, I’m sharing a handful of things I brought with me that made my travels better.
Beis The Weekender
I used this as my larger carry-on and it easily fit in an overhead bit and stashed a couple of days worth of clothes, toiletries, headphones, and more. I like its dedicated laptop sleeve, exterior sleeve that easily slips onto a suitcase handle for easy transport, and bottom compartment that holds two pairs of shoes handily. My only gripe is that its strap is a little uncomfortable, but Beis sells a wider option to mitigate this.
Shout Wipes
These travel-friendly wipes have saved my clothes on many occasions and are super effective for spot cleaning. They’re also inexpensive and very portable: I always have a couple of packs in my purse or luggage.
Cotopaxi Travel Cubes
There are a lot of travel cubes out there, but I really love these highly durable ones from Cotopaxi. They have mesh sides so you can see what’s in them and are made from repurposed materials. Cotopaxi’s also a fantastic company: it’s a certified B Corp and has a sustainable mission.
The Last to Vanish by Megan Miranda
A good book’s a travel must-have. And if you’re looking for a fast-paced thriller, I really enjoyed Megan Miranda’s latest novel. It’s set in a small, North Carolina mountain town and broken down into sections based on notable missing persons cases the protagonist’s trying to solve. I didn’t anticipate some of the twists in this book, down to the last few pages.
